The short version

Some outbound links to banks and card issuers on this site are referral or affiliate links. If you open an account through one of them, we may receive compensation. This never costs you extra. An offer you reach through a referral link can occasionally differ from the public offer described on the page, so always confirm the bonus terms on the bank's own page before applying.

Most offers here pay us nothing

We list an offer because it exists and is worth knowing about, not because it pays us. The catalog contains hundreds of bank, brokerage, and credit card bonuses, and only a small handful of them (currently around a dozen) have any referral or affiliate relationship. The overwhelming majority of links on this site go straight to the bank with no compensation to us of any kind.

Compensation does not change rankings

Rankings and sequencing in Stacks OS are computed from the offer itself: the bonus value, the fees, the deposit and direct-deposit requirements, how long it takes to complete, and your eligibility. Affiliate status is not an input to that math. An offer with a referral link is ranked exactly as it would be without one, and an offer that pays us nothing will outrank a referral offer whenever the numbers say it should.

How referral links behave

Referral offers are set by the banks and can change or expire without notice, sometimes faster than public offers. If the referral offer you land on differs from what we describe, trust the bank's page, not ours, and let us know so we can fix it.
