Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 10, 2026
This policy describes what Stacks OS and the Fat Stacks Academy website collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account data. Your email address and password, handled by Supabase (our authentication and database provider). Passwords are stored hashed; we never see them in plain text.
- Bonus-tracking data you enter. The bonuses you track, dates, deposit amounts, and notes you add while using the app.
- Imported spreadsheet and history data. Bonus history you upload or paste into the import tool, used to match your past bonuses against our catalog.
- Emails submitted to content gates. If you unlock gated content (like state-specific offer lists) with your email, we store that email and which gate you used.
- Payment data. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers; we only see subscription status and billing metadata Stripe shares with us.
- Usage analytics. Page views and product events via Google Analytics and PostHog. For signed-in users, product events are linked to your account. Deletion requests (below) cover this data too.
Cookies and localStorage
We use cookies and browser localStorage for session authentication (keeping you signed in), remembering content unlocks, and analytics. Blocking these may sign you out or re-lock gated content, but the public site still works.
How we use your data
To provide the service (tracking your bonuses, showing your dashboard), to send deadline reminders and digest emails you have signed up for, and to improve the product based on aggregate usage.
What we never do
We never sell your personal data.
Third-party processors
We rely on a small set of service providers to run the product: Supabase (authentication and database), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), Google Analytics and PostHog (analytics), Resend (transactional email), and Anthropic (AI matching when you import your bonus history: the rows you import are sent to the Claude API to match them against our catalog; Anthropic does not train on this data via the API). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
Data deletion and unsubscribe
To delete your account and its data, email fatstacksacademy@gmail.com from the address on the account and we will remove it. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link; using it stops those emails immediately.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will post notice on the site and update the effective date above.
