Full Requirements
Be a new member, apply for an eChecking account and, once approved, deposit at least $25. Within 120 days of opening you have to enrol in Digital Banking and eStatements and set up a recurring direct deposit of at least $400 a month; it has to be a genuine direct deposit or payroll deposit. Then three months of those recurring deposits have to be credited before the bonus qualifies. The $250 is added in the first week of the month after your qualifying date. KEEP IT OPEN SIX MONTHS: the bonus is forfeited if the account is closed inside six months. Note that eChecking pays no dividends, and the account defaults to Personal Checking without notice if you do not complete eStatement enrolment.
Fees
No monthly fee.
ChexSystems & Credit Pull
Low ChexSystems sensitivity.
Eligibility
California residents only. New members only.
