Full Requirements
Open a new personal Associated Bank checking account and fund it by August 31, 2026. The minimum opening deposit is $25 for Associated Access Checking or $100 for Balanced or Choice Checking. Within 90 days of opening, receive recurring direct deposits totaling $500 or more from an employer or government agency. Person to person payments and transfers from your other accounts do not count. Your payout is set by the average daily balance across all your Associated deposit accounts for days 31 through 90: $1,000 to $4,999.99 pays $300, $5,000 to $9,999.99 pays $400, and $10,000 or more pays $600. Opening online is limited to residents of IA, IL, IN, KS, MI, MN, MO, OH and WI; branches are in Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Balances from personal checking, savings, money market, IRA and CD accounts count toward the tier as long as they are titled to the same primary account holder, but business, HSA, investment, minor and private banking balances do not. You are not eligible if you received a new personal checking bonus in the last 24 months or have had an Associated Bank checking account in the last 12 months. One per customer, primary owner must be 18 or older, and a valid email address is required. The bonus arrives within 120 days of account opening and the account has to stay open 12 months or the bank can take the money back at closing.
