How to set it up
Push, don't pull: start the transfer from the PNC side, not from your bank's "request funds" flow. A pull initiated by the receiving bank codes as an internal request and generally does not count.
Send at least the offer's stated minimum, a little early in your bonus window. Standard ACH takes 1 to 3 business days to settle, so you want time left over to switch to real payroll if this push does not register as a direct deposit.
