Columbia Bank of New Jersey. The qualifying activity is ACH credits totaling at least $2,000 posted to the checking account within 60 days of opening, and transfers between your own Columbia accounts are not treated as ACH transactions. You are not eligible if you have ever received a Columbia new account opening bonus of any type on a checking or savings account, and only one such bonus is paid per person no matter how many accounts you open. The account must still be open when the credit is issued, and the $300 is credited within 60 days after Columbia verifies the requirement. A separate Balance Build offer pays $150 or $400 for new money deposits, and the one bonus per customer rule means you can take only one of them. No deadline is published and the bank calls it a limited time offer.

Unity Bank (New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania). Consumer accounts only, and only for customers who do not currently hold a Unity Bank checking account. Closing within 180 days costs $50 and forfeits the bonus.
